you will see what im talking about this guy has a psc of more than 10 k (most 60898 fuses only go upto 10 )
waffeling
whats the difference inj prospective short than prospective fault as ive forgot
so excuse the ignorance as i dont use the knowledge just had to revise to get the cert would have known in dec but if i didnt want to remember i wouldnt be a good spark adi

PSCC - Prospective short circuit current. maximum current than can flow in the even of a short circuit fault i.e Line - Neutral, Or, Line - Line

PEFC - Prospective Earth Fault current - Maximum current that can flow in the event of a fault to earth.

You record the highest of the 2, however on a 3phase system you record double the L-N value (Unless you tester is capable of measuring L-L)

Its very unusually to have a PFC that high unless you'r in an industrial unit right next to the substation. what is your Ze value??

paul thanks for the reply but read new thread to understand i have heard of a lot higher reading but thats only when the supply earth is broken or u.s
