Not sure of Australian regs, but I would think if it’s outside, it would need to be glued to prevent ingress of water….

But then, in the UK, we do get much more “outside water” ie, rain, than you do down under.
 
Bear in mind it will have less movement available if all the joints are glued, and so may warp more in high temperatures.
