Obviously the QS can review and sign off other people's installation certs but I was wondering if he/she can sign off their own certificates?

Why has this subject of signing off certificates become confusing?:(

Wiring regulations require certificates to be compiled as part of the work carried out
It has nothing to do with being a QS, Building regulations, Nicy,Napit or even uncle Bert :)

Interesting view @Des 56, and why has it become confusing you ask. For instance; I put in cert (EIC) Today to Principal contractor and had it returned as the qualified supervisor had not signed the cert. I have two places I could sign one is as the Inspector and the next box as Reviewed by qualified supervisor. Effectively I am both a QS and Inspector Design and construction. So what am I to do? Sign twice once as inspector etc. and once as qualified supervisor or once as QS or as I usually do once as Inspector? I am a sole proprietor so that is why I do not usually sign both.

Been there before, they haven't got a clue sign it in both boxes it keeps them happy.
