Had a call from a customer, the family have a Rako smart home set up to control the lights in different rooms.
Says some switches no longer work and system is playing up.
Not sure if it can be readily or easily fixed, as it is not the cheapest stuff and also from what little I know quite a bugger to set up properly.
Anybody got experience of Rako stuff and fixing an install?
Otherwise she is considering an alternative, my go to would be the Aone ket, nice and easy to set up and work with too.
Thoughts or opinions?

Did you have a look at the setup ? is it just retrofit or is there a panel with everything taken back to ? Not that difficult if you have the instruction but like you said bloody expensive .

Most of the switches I've worked with have been battery so could be a nice easy fix .

I install Rako and its a great bit of kit. As others have said, the switches could be the battery powered version and the batteries may need replacing. Or it could be a programming issue and may need to be re-programmed using the Rako software. I wouldn’t replace with Aone, once Rako is programmed properly it’s a bulletproof system.

They’ve also got a great technical team and would be happy to help if you got in touch with them.
