Hi guys so basically I had a shaver charger wire with a 2 pin plug, and cut the wires and put it into a 3 pin plug. Is this ok or will there be problems? The wires from the shaver charger seem thin. Please see attached image. It's a standard Philip's charger wire.

It is difficult to tell but the plug you cut off may have a reduced voltage output. Is there anything stamped or written on it.

No it won't be O.K if it's the same as my Phillips charger.
That lump you cut of has an output of 15volts dc, you'll wreck the shaver if it's straight into 240v.DSC_0377[1].JPG

Did look like a Scissors .. Don't cut off-- on original.
Too big to be a simple plug / Bathroom safe if other end unplugs ! (as others have said -Don't plug it in)

Ok thanks guys I thought it would be worth a shot. That why I asked here to make sure as I'm not that clued up. If I wired the charger into a usb would that work better?
