HIT H250E01 Installation guide isn't completely clear about the width between fixing brackets, but under "Optional mounting range" it states "Fixing Span is 1050mm or less". My installer is nearly finished and the panels are fixed closer to corners so typical gap between fixing brackets is 1250mm. Would this invalidate the warranty?

It also states "Earth Ground Wiring - The kind of the earth construction shall conform to IEC61730-1 ....." am I right in thinking that with a SMA 3000 HF inverter there is no need to earth either module or frame?

I Don't trust installers who just tell me that they have done it this way before....

The panels should be fitted according to manufacturers instructions or warranty may be invalid. Sometimes roof construction leaves you limited options though.
there is no need to earth the array with the HF
