Had a Kewtech and a Megger off Ebay no proplems either.

I'd be asking a few more questions, as this seller has a few other random "pre-owned" tools for sale and the 3 feedbacks he has got are for various used MFTs. I wonder what his source of supply is? Ask for a photo of the serial number of the Megger - it should be a small white printed label inside the battery compartment. Also ask to see the calibration certificate to check its legitimacy and ensure it corresponds to the serial number of the tester. If the cal cert is an obvious photocopy with data blanked out, or if the serial number label on the tester is "missing", then the MFT is likely to be hot.

Been waiting for 6 hrs for a photo of the serial number and calibration certificate & got a sneaky feeling it wont be coming.

Although I have had no problems ever buying an MFT off Ebay, this particular one has alarm bells.
