Hi,
I have a new large shed with a new electrical service mounted outside. The service is wired, inspected and active. It only has one outdoor outlet for a load now. The shed wall is plywood. I wish to install a few outlets and a simple light in the shed and have it inspected.

What is the proper way to bring power into the shed from the service mounted on the outside?

Installing outlets, I will run romex through the exposed studs, and install nail protectors.

Installing the light, I plan on running the romex inside the studs, through the wall top plates, and up a rafter. Anything special here? Light switch height?

I could do all this as I see fit in a couple hours but, as I am having it inspected, now it needs to be done to code.

Thanks all for the help.

Rich
