Hi all I've been asked to install 10 new sub main for 10 flats, that all have existing circuits and fuse boards. They just want new sub mains because they are moving the location of the fuse room. The question is do I really have to create 10 EIC Certs I use Nic Eic and they are a bit long for the work I'm about to carry out. The flats have all been tested by a previous electrical contrcator who is no longer operating.

You will require one EIC for each flat/number of flats fed from a single source of supply. If say 3 flats are fed from one head then that will be one EIC with the 3 subs recorded in the schedule.

There's nothing quite as satisfying as 3 EIC's to do at the end of a hard days graft. It's what makes it all worthwhile. You go to bed with a warm glow knowing you'll be doing it all again tomorrow...
