(Thought I'd already poost this Q, but I cant see it, so I'll try again)
We have some work going on in one of our buildings atm. On of the chaps has drilled into a cable that was buried in a wall in a fairly random location, knocking out the power to one of the flats (and giving him a nasty kick!).
The cable runs from the feed into the property and meter, out to the flats consumer unit. So, I had assumed that he blew the main fuse. Thats cool, we can get someone into replace that. But, I asked for some photos of the meters/fuses and now I'm wondering. I'm not sure whether I'm actually looking at a three phase supply that goes into a big grey metal box, and then splits out to each flat, or whether this is actually 3x single phase supplies that get split.
I'm just curious to know what I'm looking at, and what is most likely blown?
