Hi all,
Just pricing up a job and schedule of works states that in various rooms i wire a 'coax for TV from existing aerial and sky box'. Now, my understanding would be that that is two cables to each point, one for Sky and one for the tv aerial, agreed or not? if so, i understand that the tv coax's go back to the aerial via a booster amp should it be needed(probably). As for the Sky, not done any Sky install before, where would i be taking those cables back to? Any help greatly appreciated guys.

Hi. The usual way to distribute Sky is from the RF OUT 2 socket on the back of the Sky box. This should go to an amplifier/splitter that is compatible with Magic Eye. From there a co-ax feed to each room. The aerial also goes into the amp. You only need one TV point in each room.

Try one of these...

I have one of these in my own house. Works a treat. I have the PSW351T in the front room and either the PSW122 or PSW111 in the other rooms.
