Solar installations roof work

Possibly a silly question, I would like to do solar but I really don't like being on roofs, and don't fancy cutting roof tiles and all that stuff.
Is it possible to have someone else install the panels under supervision and then do the electrical connecting and setup myself?

Yes. I work with an MCS accredited company. They do the design and installation of the PV and I do the cable work. In reality I often help with the installation also - testing panels and then helping to pass them up on to the roof. I subcontract to them.
