I have an electric car and an air source heat pump (so we use quite a bit of electricity). We have a house with south-facing roof. I've had a few quotes but feel confused about the variety of advice we are getting. All agree that a battery is good. People have quoted between a 4kw unit to a 7.5kw unit. Prices seem to vary a lot.

Can the quality of panel vary quite a lot? What do you think of this: A 7.35KWp solar PV system, which consists of 15 x 490w JA Solar black framed panels and a battery system, which consists of SunSynk 5.2kw Battery.

All help is appreciated! Many thanks.
