I have just tried to notify a job through Stroma's new installer portal and it is saying I have insufficient 'web credit'.

I pay for my notifications by direct debit.

Do you now have to put some credit on your account before you can notify jobs?

Just another thought regarding this thread....

Do they take your annual assessment fees out of this web credit or do you pay that separately? The reason i ask is if you put £500 of credit on you get an extra £50 of credit, so it seems worth it if they use this for you assessment fees.

Of course! better earning interest in Stroma's (sorry, NAPIT's) bank than in yours! Having been a NAPIT member for ten years, I can see that this is the thin edge of the wedge. Keep an eye on this!! I wonder if some other organisation will start up for sparkies' accreditation with a realistic pricing structure and treating their subscribers as 'members' not cash-cows.
