It appeals to me too but not for voltage related reasons - what equipment were you working on? We have a lovely Rank Cintel MKIII telecine that kicks out biphase to sync to an Albrecht MB51 sound follower.
A 70mm projector sounds like fun - some pictures would be great!DP75 70mm projector that is being used for mobile preview work. We play the audio direct from a BWF file chasing the proj via the Rosendahl BIF. I'll post some pics if you like.
