That’s a shame I’m not registered with any Wholesalers. So you can’t do a forum deal only?
Dude. Register with Electrical2Go. That's a start! Even if not for this product, at least you've got one then.

We can get one for you but you would be looking at around £58 including VAT.

It’s a good price. I think I will go with the Stanley as it’s half the price, which is hard to beat. Also the reviews online in my opinion don’t look all all that good for the CK, sorry.

But then I maybe if I had the money pay the extra for something from Milwaukee, Klein Tools or even a second hand Veto.

Something cheap to go on with will be fine. I use a £13 backpack from Homebase (not available any more) for my test gear and a range of tools. Probably about two years use and it's still cracking on fine.

There are two schools of thought with gear, pay lots for something that lasts you years, or pay hardly anything for something you are happy to replace every year. At least with a cheap bag you'll know what features you want from your next one through having used it.

Hi,if you are getting on a train where i am,you might also benefit from purchasing a very large jumper,to put on over the rucksack......or it'll be empty by the time you arrive... ;)

E/Is that ab Stealthtool bag

The bag including the Stanley is a good price. U.K. company too which is good. Maybe Dan could look at a sponsorship. I’ve mentioned that the Veto bags etc are lovely. I just don’t have the money.

Velocity have a good rep for being tough bags. Think they are trying the same market as Veto as they do some high end bags too.

I think they are similar to Veto. They do two backpacks and the high end one is £150. Well out my budget.

Do Tesco still do a "bag for life" thingy?
Could be really useful if you are carrying bits of cable etc...take them the old, ripped one, and they give you another...

Also, on a serious note, several of my chums at the workshop have the Stanley fatmax one which they bought after seeing mine which i got at a discount...all very happy with them, albeit they are new so not had much wear and tear. Probably get one, and retire it to "dirty" duty when you outgrow it?
