My elbow is out of calibration and i would like to use a torque screwdriver instead, its something ive been putting off but i have finally caved.

What torque screwdriver is everyone using?

A little review would also be helpful

I use the Wera Kraftform torque set.

Yeah I really want one for final fuse board checks so that I can prove they are tight. I’m not a fan of the interchangeable blades I prefer separate screwdrivers if I’m honest. Just want to cover my bases..

I know what you're saying but with a torque screwdriver you "know" without doubt that you've followed the manufacturer's instructions to the letter (or number).
i suppose on more sensitive equipment where there is a chance of snapping the head of the screw off the tiny terminals,

for board swaps i use my drill on 3rd torque setting to hold in place before finishing off with manual driver

do see alot of snapped lighting circuit neutrals where someone has screwed right through the conductors, same with earths

human sense of touch is pretty amazing, put a tiny bit of grit on a flat surface, run your finger over it and youll feel it

I have a draper one that i bought last year after the scum broke into my old van and stole a load of kit. had to get one at last minute and it was the only one in stock at the time. does the job, dont use it too much in all honesty but cant fault it. nice and easy to adjust too.

After looking at the extortionate prices for what is in essence a glorified screwdriver i think i might stick with the trusted technique of swear tight. I have thankfully never had a connection come loose or caused arcing due to a loose connection so im going to give it a miss.

Seems like another scam within the industry in which scare mongering is used, thanks for the input guys but im being a tight git atm.
