Wasn't knocking you by the way! I agree you should follow the spec, just with both sizes being 150mm higher than I would expect I thought it must be something to do with the finished floor level and was intrigued by what it could be![emoji1]

update after my first day .....

spent the morning with 2 lads. they were installing the new circuits for the kitchen and consumer unit for a one bedroomed flat. started at 8 and finished by 2. dont honestly know if i was more a help than a hindrance ... asked lots of questions, asked for things to do and kepts the place as clean as possible.

the afternoon was spent changing a cu in a 2 bedroomed flat .... this quickly turned into a fualt finding exercise and i spent over and hour removing socket and spur fronts for them to be checked over ...


im really looking forward to tomorrow .... i need to speak with him regarding pay etc but i'll worry about that tomorrow ...
