I purchased two crashed MG ZS EVs. One is frontal, the other side. Plan is to build one good car.

The ZS has 6 airbags. 4 are blown in one, 2 in the other. Surprisingly I have one complete set of airbags.

But my question is about the sensors and control unit. Are the accelerometers re-usable or once they have gone off, trash? And how do I test? They appear to be two wire, so is a simple continuity test all that is required?

Also, I have heard that the control unit is use once. Is this generally true or should it be re-usable?

And then my biggest fear. If I were to rebuild the system and accidentally reuse a bad sensor or used control unit but good airbag would it be triggered once I power up the system?

Thanks in advance for your help.
