Please update your Windows. There are a couple of important updates out, plus a better IE, and if you have it, a service pack update for Office.

You don't have automatically update windows turned on?
IE8 is better then firefox for which reason? (Unless you want the new pr0n mode?)
You don't auto update office either?

Edit:

Bing? Thats easy pr0n surfing again! Microsoft have got into trouble because of the easy pr0n surfing feature of bing - do not let bing near any computer that children might use!

using IE8 i think it has a stable platform and some cool features and not talking about the pr0n mode. all browsers have security flaws even safari, in a cenvention it was hacked in 10 seconds.

personally i stick to IE and firefox.

Try chrome by google. Its not bad
