Henry £90 at B&Q Trade Point and spec states SS tubes.

Thanks. Just ordered one.

You'll soon be able to answer my earlier question about how well the newer models perform ?
@nicebutdim do you know what they have changed in the newer models?

Mine is 10 years or so old and has a slightly annoying switch that you have to press at switch on for maximum power. I get why they've done it, but I wish it was the other way round - 99% of the time I want the higher setting!

Lower power consumption than EU regulations require - perhaps they knew about some future change in that regulation. Reviews are still favourable, especially from new owners, but some complain that new models aren't as powerful as their predecessors.

We have one in the house that has the same button as yours, but my old workshop Henry has a rocker switch that can be kept on high power all the time.

my Henry is that old, it has it's switch round the back, not on the top. and not a sign of a neon.

and @Buzz, i'd not pay much more than that for a van. most expensive van i ever had is 2004 Hiace. cost £1500 in 2015. still going strong.

Titan Vacs any good:

I shall recommend V15 Dyson because this is the latest model of dyson and they come with excellent features.

You recommend a Dyson stick vacuum for brick dust and rubble?

Given that Dyson's warranty for this product doesn't cover industrial use, how many of these £600+ vacuums might one be expected to buy in any given year?

You probably wouldn't admit to have been using it in an industrial setting.

Dyson...... do people really admit to buying that rubbish ? !!!!! G-tech and Shark are far superior
I have a Karcher at home, i love it. The smaller model was great too but was horrendously loud, genuinely to the point of needing ear defenders.

Those titan hoovers are pretty beastly for the price too.

Have older, corded Dysons in my own house and in my holiday cottages, and they are excellent at their job, especially dog hairs, but I wouldn't dream of using one on site. Far too fragile. I use Henrys for that.
Many years ago, a customer of mine insisted on getting out her month old Dyson to clear up some of my mess. It was the last thing it ever cleaned up!

I have a little battery Dewalt one for tidying up after small jobs and for cleaning up after myself as I go along.
Can't fault it for what it is. It's actually surprisingly good.

No use whatsoever for hoovering a whole room or when chasing but if you get the nozzle near the SDS / Multitool it picks up most of the dust.
