Me and camerabloke did a job for a friend of his, mates rates etc you know the drill, anyway after a few heated discussions ahe decided he couldn't afford any more of our charges and decided he would do things his way.
Camerabloke got a call the other day, could we go around and check some work he has done, a lesson to all you DIYers, you cant do what you think you can, it costs you in the end.

keep us posted.

I'd probably tell him to get knotted out of principal. I hate sorting out other peoples mess and I hate it even more if they were given solid advice and chose to ignore it.

Will do unless it gets nasty

Surely, that's the time to share the punch by punch details, the scuffling and then the trouser pulling and then all the rest ........ pop corn at the ready:lol:

Wow! Mates rates for a friend of a friend!, my company policy forbids mates rates with exception for direct family members only and even then it advises against it!

Oooohhh,that's harsh...are you still collecting Dalmation puppies,for that new spotty boiler-suit? :shocked3:

You're on form this morning, very witty indeed, I do enjoy reading some of your replies.

Update for you, after girding our loins me and camerabloke went around to see what Mr DIY had done to his electrics, knocked on the door a few minutes went by and a bleary eyed DIYer opened the door, don't know what he had been up to it was 1400 hrs, "oh hi mate bit tired can you come back later".

Well I didn't know what to say, well I did but I didn't because there were some kiddies playing in the street, cheeky barsteward, I turned away a bit smartish, muttering to myself, camerabloke looked bemused, got in the motor and Fox Trotted Off. Sorry it turned out to be a damp squid, needless to say wont be going back.
