UK What type of bulb is this?

It's from an outdoor light. About 15cm long and has 4 prongs.

The part number is shown on your photo, F9BX/827/4P. The 827 is the light colour (very warm white 827 = 2700K), you can fit one less warm if you prefer or easier to obtain (e.g. 830 = 3000K).

Yes, the 840 means 4000K colour temperature - whiter, rather than brighter. But make sure you get the 4P - 4 pin version (and not the 2-pin version).

Your answer is up there ^ somewhere... I would say take it to a specialist electrical wholesaler, but most will be closed to general public during the lockdown
