i have some good pics on a memory stick of some bizzare electricals in domestics. if i can find it i will pop them on

I once upon a time had a Ruben’s tube connected to my hi-fi system. I know it’s not electrical, but the chicks used to like it….lol. And it made a good reading light when AC/DC was pumped through it. :)

AC/DC MMMmmm now your talkin lol Rodger sun tan like it , glow in the dark human lol

The 'suntan' was a reply to the post that I accidentally deleted ( nobody's got mad at me yet so I guess I've got away with it) it was to the effect that somebody had installed 8 or so 150w metal halide lamps in their lounge, You got to admit that's serious suntan territory, won't do your weed any harm either, but it sounds like you know about that!

Ok you can all have a good laugh on me. Replaced some mcb's for a real good client last week all checked out ok it was late afternoon and getting a bit dark so put living room lights on to put my gear away. When i looked at lights above dining room table, row of 4 in some sort a trendy fitting lights appeard to be just about on but flikering so straight to board checking voltage, connections etc bit of a panic on !!!!!!!!
Just rang the wife to say id be home in half hour .......This is all i need as id already handed them the bill. All checked out ok so goes to light fitting, dismantelled first glass fitting !=mins only to find some bloody fancy flickering LED candle effect ......................Idiot

I was asked to install two 600X600 recessed lighting that were took down from the suspended ceiling on a job I was on by a labourer three years ago.He gave me the impression it was for his garage (fair enough I thought). But on getting to the house I was asked to mount them hard up to the living room ceiling and clip surface twin and earth(gray) between them.
I only did it as he was a really nice bloke that helped out anyone at work but it looked shocking. But the worst thing was that he and his wife were happy that they got some free lights fitted
