Hey guys..

Trying to do up my resume and I'm stuck on a term.

I did some work a couple years ago where you take an old installation with no prints, and follow the cables/wires to create a set of as-builts..

What would you call that?

Thanks!

I think I'd call it ..... "Struggling" :)

I'd call that a site survey if you were installing a new infra structure as it would be classed "as-is"

If your not doing new work then I guess it would be part of a maintenance programme.

Yeah it was a precursor to a PLC swap.. Obviously you can't do a PLC swap if you don't know how the current system is running

Thanks everyone for your help!
