Where are the maintenance sparks

My gym has got socket covers in all of their (metalclad) sockets. They won't pay attention to something as simple as someone going round and taking them out, either.

Are the remains of the socket live, or has the circuit been disconnected as the sockets keep getting smashed.?

probably still energised....they wont know what to do....and they will lose any other points served....they wont want that.....

At least the switches are intact for plugging things in and unplugging.....every cloud and all that

Yep, and have done. Also the same at my apprentices' nursery, too, and they won't listen either.
