hello all,

I am in the near future going to have to price for a job. 32 new build flats(timber frame).
I would like to be responsible for all the design and drawings, which i have the option of. Or sub out to an independant electrical designer/quantity surveyor.
Has anybody got and good advice regarding electrical software i could use. Which is good/bad?

Also business indemnity insurance? can somebody explain what it is/does? will i need it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Many thanks.:)

This is something I'm looking at doing in the future. I want to offer a total design and build service using friends in various trades. Electrical design ain't difficult. I did a lot of it in the C cert course, A few years ago, I did it at the old Durham Tech at Framwelgate. Prob a lot easier with the various software solutions on the market these days.
I'm going to do a bit research at this years elex show at Harrogate.
