Hello and good evening,

My registration with ELECSA will be expiring soon and is due for renewal.

I havent had any problems with the as such, but someone who provides me work has been approached by b and q about kitchen fitting, and they say he would need an NICEIC or NAPIT registered electrician for their jobs..

My understanding is that thats not really fair, considering they all do pretty much the same thing. I know the others are more recognised, should this situationa rise where certain scams can only be accepeted. Im aware alot of councils want nic registered but you know im after value for money and elecsa being cheaper offer me that.

just wondering you guys/gals thoughts??

Phone ELECSA, inform them of what you have heard. Explain you will have to leave due to this unless they wish to contact them and point out they do exactly the same as the others. Make them work for your money instead of just paying your fees for not alot
