I've been using the CK T1632 Toolcase for the last three years and it's finally broken a zip and the other zip is on its way out as well.

I see it's been discontinued so I'm on the hunt for the best replacement.

I like the format of my existing case with the handles and shoulder strap and opening sides. I like the rubberized waterproof base and I often need to walk long distances with it so a shoulder strap is a must.

I don't carry big stuff like extension cables and power tools, I just have the standard range of handtools along with 3 testers and a laptop and some other bits and pieces. The largest tools I carry are a pair of adjustable pump pliers and an adjustable spanner. That said it's pretty heavy when fully loaded.

Any suggestions what might be suitable please?

Hmm 4 times the cost, think I will stick to the Magma ones for now. Thats a massive outlay for something to carry tools in lol

Hold on a min 4 times?

Which one are you comparing it to.

The xl-f which is the same size as the technician bag is £110 inc near me

I usually see the ck at £50.

The xxl-f is £180 but has everything in there including a woodsaw and can carry your drill and charger etc
