On the iPad (maybe similar?) I went into settings, found internet app (Safari), found clear history and stuff(?), cleared it, went to Google, re-found the Forum (don't know if necessary really, but it makes a new link to the site) and all was restored.

I often find when a question is asked, however hard or simple it may be, a look at the poster's profiles often helps in the reply,( that is if they have bothered to fill any details in)

I can't use the "like" either (on a PC) ..... I've tried Edge, IE and Chrome browsers, no luck.

I'm jealous because I can't use any of the fancy new icons :-(

Yes, cleared the browser and restarted, no joy.
I'll try a different PC and see let you know how I get on.

I did. I edited the whole new-users group to enable it for everybody in it. Not sure why I didn't when I installed and set it up but hay ho. Had a lot on this past couple of months.
