Nice piece of kit have you got enough tools to fill all the pockets:). Might get one myself let us all know what you think of it when you have used it for a while.

Thanks

Chris

although the wife aint too impressed ..... women cant live with them , pass me the salt

Hi Mate, you won't regret it. I have had an XL just over a year and it still is in great condition. Was so impressed I just bought an LC for my cat5/tv & sat tools and another Xl for my spare kit last month.

Holds loads and built like a tank.

I have to admit that last year I thought £120 was far too much money for a bag and nearly didn't buy one. However when working out how many cheaper bags I had got through it seemed worth it.
After using it, I wouldn't even dare buy a different bag now.

Did you get it from Beesleys?

looks tempting but i ended up with a greys fly set the other week. next cash in may have to invest

got eye on larger ones now for bigger tools but darent menntion it yet :)
women just dont understand

will the xl handle a cordless drill (like to carry one with hand tools)

Got my eye on one of these bags but can't decide between the XL and the XXL-F. Like the the look of the XL and all the pockets, but due to me only doing commercial and industrial work (lot of metal work) need my hack saw and other long tools every day and don't think the XL will accomaodate them (measured my hack saw - 17 inches long - i know sad).
Think i may have to go with the XXL-F but just hope there is enough pockets for all my hand tools, theres a lot!!!
Sick of my stanley bag, my tools just get lashed in and are all getting damaged, plus can never find what i want, and end up emptying it all over the site!!!

Now thats harsh saying women don`t understand about the price etc. just tell her it`s a Chloe and she will be fine :D

Wow sexy.........but no good to me, i would struggle to lift it.

The comment about Chloe....:D:D:D
Now if it were A Radley, the wife would have it.

I carry a Bosch 10.8V lithium drill/driver in my XL but you cannot really fit a real sized drill in there. Also it's a no with the hacksaw as well. The XXL version is more suited as it only has pockets in one side so the other is ideal for bulky tools etc.

Coinsidently if anyone here wants a BRAND NEW XL Veto zipped top, PM me. I have one going for £110 delivered. Bought 4 weeks ago from Beesleys for £133 (reciept included for warranty) but decided to buy an LC instead as my extra tools were not enough to fit the XL. It is 100% new and comes with strap, all boxed ready to go.

Take that back you can fit a full size drill.

My XL has now sold but I have a new LC for £80 delivered. Take a look in the forsale forum:

Can you fit A4 test sheets in the zipped compartment of the XL?

Just been paid and i'm looking to spend! My dewalt bag weighs more than me at the moment. Its only good feature is that it stops people trying to borrow my tools as they can never find anything!

Just bought a Veto Pro Pac LT-XL after wanting one for ages. Though, B*gger it and got one, can always offset it against wages.
It's true what they say, they really are exceptional bags. Made from the Toughest cordura in the industry with real leather detail. The carrying capacity is second to none. Details like magnetic shoulder strap which is kept out of the way then put down and pocket arrangement really stand out. It really is a tardis.
Prolly get the mick taken for a couple of days as i've now got the gucci kit but can see this bag lasting a good few years!

Forget about carrying about a laptop unless your a 'clean' engineer etc. I use the side pockets designed for the laptop for installation certificates, Regs book, onsite guide etc. and the other side for a small tidy box bought at B&Q for crimps etc. I divvied the bag into a test side with all my test gear, calculator, gps etc and tool side the other.
Expensive bit of kit but worth it!:D
It really has to be seen in the flesh to appreciate.
