That's only if you turn up in a Mini Cooper, though.

Chuck a few nuts in the top end and send a couple of mice in on the other side and let them chew their way out. 40mm mice work best. ?

Sorted!

A combination of Marvos idea, knocking the brick out and the flexible part of the super rod set pushed in from the bottom end.

I could see no evidence of the conduit collapsing, I think it was just blocked by 2 sharp turns in quick succession.

The automation is now installed, the GSM intercom and gates are due Friday. The builder is coming Monday to fit the brick back in.

No need for TNT ? thankfully.

I suggested you would end up taking bricks out in post 2.

No smilies still?

Just a heads up, when replacing a brick into a space like this, the brick tends to sag on the stretcher face whilst the mortar is setting, I have in the past inserted a couple of squashed copper pipe bits to support the brick until the following day, then removed them and made good the holes.

leave the brick out and fit a letter box over the hole, with the legend "HMRC mail only".

Well done Lee, glad you got it sorted.
