Had one just ring up tonight, not happy with position of CU in the shed!, apparently it obscures the view  and he didn't realise how big it would be. Don't you just love them. Think i'll grip fill it to the window tomorrow:D

Same, Hey ho, I told him where it was going this morning and pointed to the position he agreed!. So either it's an additional £100 to move it down below the work surface where it is liable to get damaged or is no longer accessible or it stays put. I'm thinking he will have it moved, It's not even about the money I HATE ripping out my own work.

Well I think it enhances the view, nice work. Few cheeky little breakers on show would have been nice, though......

Oosh! I'd better have a cold shower.

LOL. The customer will be getting one too if he cuts up ruff, trouble is they are having the whole back of the house re landscaped and the landscaper is on day rate and they change their minds like the wind, I think they are under the impression that I'm on day rate so they can just keep changing my spec or positions.

By the look of that view they aren't short of a few, and I've generally found people who aren't short of a few will treat you with a complete lack of respect, and assume you will drop everything and re-do anything just because of their whimsy or indecisiveness. You are, after all, only a tradesman.

This is the case, the wife is on 250K as a civil servant and wears the trousers, the guy is a clinical phycologist 60-70K a year and they've just had the Tennis court re painted and serviced. It looks like it's going to be a long but hopefully profitable job if I can keep the extras all logged and tie them down to written contracts. We may be tradesmen but we aren't idiots;)

What the hell would you do with that much dough!? Jebus H! I bet they don't give any to charity or owt.

Make sure you keep on top of it, mate. Rich people don't stay rich by giving their money away readily. Although I reckon in this case they could spunk tenners up the wall every hour on the hour, they'd still be loaded. Sheesh!

That's not Hilti red............what's going on son

The Hilti is the backup, the Protool is the better drill, may give it a lick of paint;)

In this case I will make an exception LOL. I'm going to try and not post anymore new posts as I've just realised I'm on 2000, soooo sad
