    Hey guys , went to a job last night to quote for a new shower install ... After removing the old shower front , I discovered 2 X 2.5mm t&e instead of 1 6mm .. the current shower is 8.5kw and ran into a 40a MCB on RCD side of a split board .. no signs of perished cables or burning anywhere ...

    Hey guys .. I'm running a new circuit to a large outside area in a garden , consisting of 5 heat lamps 250w each ... I've done the calcs and it will.be pulling 5a . Cable run is only 15m Are there regs on outside heater lamps in the 18th ? And Would 2.5 armoured on a 6amp MCB be ok ...

    Ive left the job now .. but 1st gang was fine for the spots ... I linked over to second gang for 2 way switch for batton ... But batton will not come on .. power is at the second switch and also at the batton ... I think there's no neutral at the batton ... Hope this makes sense ..
