    Class 2 light and earth wire?

    Evening, I have a class 2 light for the bathroom, and it has its own L & N wires that go into connectors in a type of small chocbox, that go into the loft. Whats the best way/regulation to terminate the incoming earth? Cheers

    no earth in lighting circuit

    changed a consumer unit today from old wylex board to new 17th dual rcd, when i was stripping out i noticed no earth in the lights cable. what would be the best way around this re-wire or can you fit class 2 fittings and switches. thanks :D

    Class II chrome switch (or chrome switch not requiring an earth)????

    Does anyone have any idea where I can get a light switch (or preferably a dimmer) which is chrome or steel (chrome effect will do I spose) which DOESN'T REQUIRE AN EARTH CONNECTION??? Got an installation with the old no-cpc-on-lighting-but-RCD'd-up chestnut, but the owner really wants metal...
