    Gas Safe- Electrical Connections

    I follow a few plumbers on youtube throughout their daily job tasks etc etc, just watched a video and the bloke claimed you had to be gas safe to remove a boiler cover. I never knew this and i have connected and carried out PCB fault finding on a fair few, i must be a rule breaker.

    Is this an "energy certificate" which needs to be filled in by a gas engineer and sent to a council after boiler replacement is completed? If so, where should i put the sticker which was originally on the boiler?

    Bonded external wiring to gas- should this be boxed in

    Besides finding a slug in my bathroom this morning- via the hole in the wall for the bonding.. should this earth bonding wire connecting my gas box be boxed in or is it ok outside as it is? Many thanks

    Bonding to Gas and water am2

    hi all, I have my am2 coming up. Just going over a few things. I am correct in saying that the Gas bonding would terminate in to the clamp below the joint, and not above it? Also, I was going to use one continuous length of 10mm is this allowed, or is it better practice to use to lengths? Regards

    TT system and gas bond

    Doing some bits for an old boy and checked the bonding, the gas bond does not go back to the DB or MET, but is staked right next to the main earth rod. I suppose it will effectively put the pipework in the same equipotential zone as the main earth, but just why make your life harder?
