Can anyone recommend a 7.5W LED GU10? I was using a Sylvania lamp but it's no longer produced. The 5W ones are not quite bright enough for my bathroom.
Thanks
Struggling to find a consensus on this - is it OK to power MR16 LEDs off a DC power source? I have been asked to do this by a customer who has bought the lamps and transformers himself, but the MR16s actually say AC on them so I'm uneasy about it. He says he has connected them temporarily...

Evening all,

Over the course of the last few months the problem seemed to improve after I found 2 junction boxes that were pretty leaky and sealed them. The problem now seems to be as bad as ever with one blowing...
Hello
I have two desk top lamps plugged into an extension lead. If I add a small laptop, the lamps flicker.
I tried a different extension lead - same result.
Does this indicate a fault with the electrics? :confused5:
Or could it be a fault with the laptop plug/adapter?
Cheers

Last night I switched on the livingroom lights which is lit by a total of 8...
Just been to Eddys to get three of these and they said they don't stock them any more due to constantly failing and they got sick of the amount of returns.
Seen a few icky reviews on Amazon, but most are positive. And I have generally only heard good things about them.
So are they a potential...
