can i drop cables down 100mm internal metal plasterboard walls
can i drop cables down 100mm internal metal studded plasterboard walls as someone says i cant becouse the gap cuold be less than 50mm each side of cable, if not what should i do if i cant use rcd on the curcuit.- stumas

Plasterboard fixings for light fittings....
I know it depends on the weight of the fitting, but in general, will plasterboard fixings hold the weight of a fitting? Obviously better to put a noggin in between joists but not an option. Cheers- whazza22
