Afternoon all, been offered some work subbying to a firm doing site temporaries for a couple of weeks, unsure what to say as a day rate, what's the going rate for subbying in central London at the moment? I currently charge £30ph for my own contracts based in Surrey/Berkshire, Cheers!

Hey guys the firm I work for pay the plumbers who have their gas the full gas rate(same as approved spark rate), but the sparks who are approved they will not give the rate? Is there a reason for this or is it outright discrimination?
I can't see why they would do it? Either pay both or none.

I run a company with around 4 sub-contractors (all self employed individually) that do alot of work for us. We provide a van, fuel, parking, the majority of the plant and all materials. So basically they provide the labour.
