I was thinking about how they (from posts I've read) refuse to connect things they don't like - such as refusing to connect a supply to 16mm tails. I'd have thought their ESQCR would have something to say about connecting a supply when it's clear there is equipment in-line that is not rated for the current rating of their fuse.
I'd have expected them to offer 3 choices: stay with a 60A fuse, change the VOELCB to one rated for 100A and we'll fit a 100A fuse, or stay without a supply.

I have no experience of a DNO refusing to reconnect an existing installation after carrying out any work to their equipment.

However in my experience some DNO operatives will find any excuse they possibly can to avoid starting a job or to refuse to connect a new installation.
