I will be enrolling to take the 2396 Design & Verification course due to run this September.

The center running it is Belfast Met and they need 15 people enrolled for the course to run.

Course - Belfast Met

So if you interested in gaining this Level 4 Qualification I will see you there.

I would love to do this course over 9 months as opposed to 4 days but i think it would be too far to commit for this option. I may just have to wait for the ETT to run another one. All the best though

Doubt that will happen anytime soon, will probably cost £1500 up I would imagine. A lot to cram in over 4 days, information overload.

Designing and Verifying Electrical Installations, a way of getting a role that is office based I would imagine.

I did the 2391-20 a number of years ago. It was a 3 or 4 day course but really wasn't too bad. There were a couple/few weeks then before the exam and then you had the project to do.

I did it in the Unite-favoured training provider in Rochester in Kent, Technical Training Solutions. It was a really worthwhile course. No-one was running it locally at the time.

Anyone taking the 2396 presently?

Started on Monday, project is a local Parish Hall. Doesn't look too bad.
Looking forward to getting started with the exam taking place in December.

Not taking the 2396, but just wishing you luck with the exam and good progress with the project.
Apparently the project not completed is the most common reason not to finish the qualification so I hope you manage to get the time to concentrate on it.
