Hi.

I'm looking for a few 35mm 1G metal backboxes that have some 25mm knockouts on them.

I've had them in the past (Rexton brand ones) from Tradesparky I think, but Tradesparky can no longer source them. None of the sites for boxes specify the sizes of knockouts so it's difficult to tell.

I know I could drill a standard box, but wondered if anyone knows of somewhere I can find ones off the shelf?

Thanks

Check the orange shed for them.
No doubt packaged individually, with a price tag 10 times what you pay at a trade counter, but at least you can see them on the shelf.

Woohoo. Thanks to everyone but especially the answers re Deta.

Googling them brings up the Deta catalogue where it says....
35mm and 47mm deep boxes have 20mm and 25mm knockouts.

Cheers :)

Long (boring) story...

Earlier I went to Electric Center in Huddersfield to get some Deta boxes but was told they now stock only Scolmore/Click.

So I rang the Bradford branch and was told again that Electric Center no longer stock Deta boxes:(. However the helpful bloke said they're a member of the Edmundson Electrical group and checked the computer for them having stock - one of EE independents in Leeds was showing having 700 of the 1G 35mm Detas.

So I called the place in Leeds who said even though their computer showed the Deta part number, when they checked the actual boxes… low and behold, they're not Deta but Rexton, the ones I was after all along.

I bought a box of 10 to celebrate!
