I'm doing a job which needs LED tape under shelving, 6 shelves with ~1.2m of RGBWW tape under.
I've used downlightsdirect and downlights.co.uk for tape before with no issue, but quite pricey at 12.68/m. They are also probably a bit over powered for what will be ambient light under shelving, but they only do 24V 23W/m in RGBWW.
That also means the more expensive driver.
I'll be dimming it via the controller so not such an issue, but all adds up - anyone used other suppliers of cheap (12V?) tape and found it reliable?
It needs to be RGBWW because I've never found a solely RGB option that produces a good white, and it will likely be white most of the time, with occasional splashes of colour....
I'm also looking for a decent controller for smart use, tending towards the Shelly RGBW2 as I know their stuff is pretty reliable. It also might give me the option of running a separate switch for on off as well as the smart stuff - annoyingly the switch in place is wired straight through so can't keep it without cutting the power to the unit every time.
Any othe recommendations from experience?
