Have a Chap working with me for experience...! any way he wont take payment and is a good chap as well...! actually recruited him via the forums.!

any way as a way of saying thanks i have purchased him the CK Tool Bag (he liked mine as said he was going to buy one) a Di Log Volt Stick and Di Log Voltage / Continuity probe as well as a wholesale special pack of CK Screwdrivers!

is that reasonable effort to say thanks!? or should i not give him any thing?

bearing in mind so far he has helped on 2x CU changes (one involved lots of extension of cables) a Rewire, various odd Jobs inc Spotlights and fault finding. Outdoor lighting and power , cooker installs, and with more in the pipe line..! and 3 PIRS and Remedial work including replacing nearly all the outlets and Pendants!

giz a job! think that's very fair of you.

hahaha...! maybe i will keep the drivers my self..!!

Nah lol

Ck Drivers £14 ish
bag £31
dilog Volt £10
Di log Gs38 tester Volt/Cont £32

£90 ... not much really!

Very decent of you......they'll last longer than bunging him a couple of hundred quid to waste down the nuclear sub!!

Thats very thoughfull of you , and ill be honest that reflects of the quality of you and your buisness to , full marks , think he'll appriciate the jesture

spot on bud, if i was in his position i would apperciate that v much! he will remember that too!
good on ya!

hope they are insulated drivers if you've got more work for him

I think its good that you are trying to compensate him and tools will help him as we all need tools. He will be happy he has found somebody to show him the ropes. So it all depends on how much more work he does for you as to how you carry on, why does he not want payment though? maybe he is not confident of his ability yet or thinks that if you have to pay him he will get less chance to tag along. Only the pair of you can work out what is best.

insulated ones!! of course!

he an adult trainee who has his own evening business to support his family life etc..! he purely wants the experience to assist him with his final year of college and 2391 course.

i have actually offered him an adhoc position "fully paid" after new year when i take my business LTD

nice one, the tools are a nice touch for him and i am sure it will earn you his respect which he probably has for you already.
