Well I have seen the toys working even had a go (rumour has it a gorilla can work them) Amazon has done a few delivery's with one. see https://www.amazon.com/Amazon-Prime-Air/b?ie=UTF8&node=8037720011

Well do you think its the future? millions of drones flying about delivering packages? After watching the footage I am not convinced but hey didn't they say tarmac roads wouldn't work as the horsemuck would build up to high.

They might be handy for taking pictures, spying and dropping bombs, but I can't see that they will be practicable for this purpose. I'm thinking Sinclair C5. :)

Might be OK for delivering really lightweight stuff. Drones for heavy loads will be big and heavy themselves. When a few have fallen out of the sky and killed or injured people, that's when the debate will really start. Plus, I recon that the first passenger plane to be brought down by a drone won't be too far in the future. On the other hand, even with a few fatalities, they may be safer overall than delivery van drivers.
