It's sad that he has now passed away gone to the big place in the sky
Thank god he will rest in peace and next time I need a pee in Hampstead he will not looking at my thing

Ps: is music was crap and it wasn't really a star

Any one that slept with him must be getting nervous !

Wow what an Ignorant comment to come out with, I presume you are referring to the fact he was gay so naturally must have died from aids, And I thought electricians were Intelligent- it's just been announced he died of heart failure so I think his past partners are safe.

Nothing like a bit of respect is there, You may not have liked him or his music but that doesn't mean He was crap to a lot of fans, 100 million album sales can't be wrong surely.

Has you have probably guessed I was a fan of his music and also think he was a very talented songwriter, yes his private life was less than perfect but it was his private life.

Not my cup of tea, but rest in peace all the same (there's a pattern emerging here). With a death at the age of 53, heart failure - people are only going to blame it on one thing, the stuff that goes up your nose.

Fist line of my post was about given respect to him and his family.
Next bit was just fun, when you live in the lime light your going to get the ---- taken out of you if you do stupid things.
The ps was because I did not like his music
What I did like about him was the fact he gave a lot of money to charity
Did not mean to offend you sorry

Radio 5 did a rundown of the famous musicians that have gone this last year. Didn't even mention Lemmy, which I thought was bad, specially as George got quite a big mention. Can't see how he can be regarded as such an Icon myself, I thought his music was a load of cheesy rubbish personally, but I guess you have to respect the fact that people seemed to like him. Not one of the greats though, surely?
Blimey let them off, was very late 2015!! cant believe it........ how time flies

I think the problem George Michael had was getting over the stigma of wham which haunted his career for a long time.
I think if he had come straight into the music world as himself then he would have had more credibility with the wham haters.
I personally do rank him as a great song writer and it's only my opinion but anyone that can't agree he had an amazing voice must have bad ears.
You only have to watch the Queen concert he did in place of Freddie or listen to the symphonica album.
But the above is only my opinion and it's nice for different people to have different taste and it may not surprise anyone to hear I didn't rate Lemmy or any heavy rock act, I just don't get all that racket lol.
But I suppose that's what makes life interesting
I would say my top 2 singers of all time in order ate as follows.
Paul Heaton ( legend from beautiful south
Paul weller

George would be in my top 5.

Apologies for spelling mistakes, I'm on my phone and predictive bloody text.

Amazing how people's tastes vary! Paul Weller - absolute legend. Can't b****y stand beautiful South far too sickly for me, but that's what makes the world go round. The obvious head and shoulders loss this year was Bowie, without a doubt.
