ignore the lettering on the new switch and wire up 1 at a time in the same configuration as the old switch. in other words, L1 on old switch is C on new switch. if you get it wrong, the 1 way switch may be upside down ( up for on). if so, just turn it over. make sure the supply is isolated first. can't see it, but i hope there's a gn/y sleeved connection to the back box. this need a (sleeved in gn/y )

Ok so left side exactly the same and right side brown=c and blue = L2 . Or vice versa if wrong.
No theres no earth wired up to the light switches in this house ,im guessing there should be?

Yes should be. Earth wire may already be connected to the metal back box? (if it is you will be able to see it in there) Or it may exist in the cables but has been cut back. If so, you are better off to get an Electrician in to deal with it and test it afterwards.

yes. you can either move the cpc from the back box to the switch, or add a fly lead from box to switch. either way is compliant, but the second method is good practice. you would then need to buy a bit of gn/y sleeving.
also, untwist the existing cpc from where it's showing bare copper round the blue conductor.

There's another pet hate, more than 1 CPC in shared sleeving , and back boxes full of rubble.
Plus it makes no sense to me, I've obviously never done it but I can't imaging it's an easier way of terminating them. Surely it's fiddly to get multiple conductors into one sleeve.

Can you explain what it is you are trying to do? your post asks an ambiguous question and two pictures of 2 different types of switches.
That's because the switches are different and have different purposes, the top switch is a 1 gang two way lighting switch.
The one shown in your next picture is a DP double pole 20Amp switch, which is usually used to switch say a water heater or something similar, both switches operate in a different way.
It's 1941 and the Japanese have not attacked Pearl Harbour (sorry Harbor).

It would be best to get a replacement 1 gang two way switch instead of the double pole switch, but connecting Brown to L1 and blue (sleeved brown) to L2 and earth to the earth terminal on the new switch will work.
So.....
On the new switch, do the same, brown in L1, blue in L2
Just do not use the two N terminals
