Yep that's pretty much what it is, it was in a block of 4 flats built sometime after 89, the colours are representative of the conductor size. just wasn't sure if it was a sleeve that got slid on where needed or it was part of the cableIt’s cropped up before on the forum, but I can’t recall what it was called.
It’s like singles in a small, 3 compartment flexible trunking, which looks like cable… and the singles are loose?
Was it used in pre-fab houses?
Yup no chance solid single cores, maybe if they were stranded might have a chance because stranded is more flexible.Supposed to make re-wiring easier , but anyone who has tried rewiring a pre-fab / council flat will know this stuff is not rewireable as it was intended to be
