Update: Wire stripper notches from AWG18 0.403" (approx 1mm diameter) to AWG10 0.129" (approx 0.35mm diameter), which is not even large enough to strip 1mm[SUP]2[/SUP] (approx 1.1mm diameter) solid conductors.
Think your calculator is on the blink Markie.
18 AWG is 0.0403" dia, 0.772mm dia, and 10 AWG is 0.1019" dia, 2.59mm dia. Certainly 10 AWG is bigger than 18 AWG.
(I make that 1.02mm, not your 0.772mm)
mine work a treat.
A question for you guys. Do the screw croppers on these tools actual work? without ruining the thread at the end?
