Was in my wholesalers earlier this afternoon chatting behind the counter to the lads when we heard a massive crash!
The wind had gotten under the false ceiling and brought it all tumbling down narrowly missing coming down on a punters head who'd walked in 1 minute earlier :death:

There was ceiling grid, 600x600's and ceiling tiles everywhere. Whoops!

Jumped up a ladder to make safe and disconnect. That was my good deed for the day

i'd be looking for at least a 30% discount off my next order.

and i'd be quoting to wire it properly, using the odd cable clip, instead of just throwing the cables on top of the tiles.

Whoever put that ceiling up never fixed it properly IMO can't see any suspension wires for the main tees. Very lucky nobody was hurt

Got to replace a tension wire on a tall VHF radio mast on top of a tallish building on Monday because of the wind. I seriously hope the apprentice is free.
